Difference Makers

Stand Up, Stand Out AND Don't Sell Out!

What do Susan B. Anthony, John F. Kennedy, Cesar Chavez, Harriet Tubman, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and The Dalai Lama all have in common? They were all Difference Makers! They all used their leadership influence in a positive manner to improve the experiences and lives of others. Difference Makers not only want to make a difference they do make a difference in their organizations and communities. Difference Makers rise to the occasion. Dr. King once boldly stated, “The ultimate measure of a man [woman] is not where he [she] stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he [she] stands at times of challenge and controversy.” So will you or won’t you use your leadership influence to advance the diversity and inclusion movement to make a difference in your organization and community?

This informative and interactive presentation will provide participants with practical ideas on how to lead effectively with or without a leadership title. Participants will learn how to use their words and actions to create communities and organizations that are diversity friendly, welcoming and inclusive of ALL differences. The ultimate goal of this presentation is to equip you with practical communication and leadership skills as well as motivate and inspire Difference Makers to go back to their organizations and communities to improve the experiences and lives of others.
